Stakeholder Management for Product Managers
This course has been designed using Brainmates’ best practice Product Management framework and is delivered by two Psychologists with 30+ years of experience in Neuroscience, Design Thinking and Product Management.
Participants will learn to cultivate and practically apply effective people skills in a broad range of scenarios. This includes project teams, working with other functional areas and working with other levels of management to gain approval and support.
Strategies taught are based upon psychology and neuro-scientific research designed to enhance relationships with stakeholders and improve the way participants communicate about their products.

Participants will learn:

  • Develop an increased awareness of the essential nature of stakeholder relationships and which ones are essential to a products’ success.
  • Gain skills and tools to understand stakeholders’ needs and foster strong, collaborative and effective relationships.
  • Enhance understanding of the essential nature of conflict and explore tools for managing conflict that arise when differing stakeholder needs do not align during the product delivery life cycle.
  • Learn what methods of engagement are most effective for different stakeholders.
  • Learn to influence without authority.
  • Be a better advocate for your product both internally and externally.
