Description
 
One of the most common issues for decision markers is how to optimally combine and make use of internal and external data to manage customers efficiently, improving profitability and the lifetime value of their portfolios. This training course presents an integrated vision of the Customer Portfolio Management approach and provides knowledge and skills for statistical consulting on how companies successfully apply Analytics to manage large portfolios of customers, partners, and their user base.

Upon completion of this training, participants will gain understanding and hands-on knowledge on how to apply predictive and prescriptive Analytics to manage huge portfolios of customers and address challenges such as:

Course Pre-Requisites
 
Minimum 6 months professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Customer Portfolio Management or Credit Risk Management.

Module 1
- Introduction to the customer portfolio management approach:
map of information available, implementation steps,
applications and capabilities.
 
Module 2
- Types of models: Binary Response Models, Dynamic Models, Hierarchical Models, Bayesian Inference;
Modelling Tools: Basic SQL, R and SAS.
 
Module 3
Customer Analytics Vision: concepts, business questions, success cases, model development, methodology.
 
Module 4
Traditional approach: Pros and Cons;
Bayesian approach: fundamental key to modelling and specific cases.
 
Module 5
Real-life success cases: business questions, challenges, modelling strategy, data used (variables and inputs), model specification, hierarchies and prior information;
Putting results into use: diagnosis, reporting, benefits generated.
